Elbow Meter

The elbow flowmeter and the traditional orifice flowmeter belong to the category of differential pressure flowmeter, but the way of the elbow flowmeter to produce differential pressure is different from the orifice flowmeter. The orifice plate is using the principle of fluid scaling to produce differential pressure, and the elbow sensor is using the principle of fluid inertia to produce differential pressure.

     ■ High measurement accuracy and good repeatability: the measurement accuracy of the elbow flowmeter system is as high as 0.5~1.5, and the repeatability accuracy is as high as 0.2%.  

     ■ No additional pressure loss: the elbow sensor does not have any inserts or throttles, so it will not cause additional pressure loss to the measured flow body in the process of measuring flow, which can save the power consumption of fluid transportation and save energy.  

     ■ Strong adaptability: bend sensor can be used in high temperature, high pressure, dust, vibration, humidity and other harsh environment.  

     ■ Wide range: flow rate measurement range: liquid medium for 0.2 ~ 12 m/s, steam or gas medium for 5 ~ 160 m/s.  Diameter range: φ10 ~ φ2000mm.  

     ■ The straight pipe section is not strict: the first five (5D) and the last two (2D) straight pipe sections can fully meet the requirements.  

     ■ Long service life: the bend sensor has good temperature resistance, pressure resistance, corrosion resistance, wear resistance and vibration resistance, and is not sensitive to trace wear.  The life of the sensor after special processing is at least the same as that of the pipe.  

     ■ Easy installation, wear resistance, maintenance free: because the elbow sensor is not sensitive to wear, so it can be directly welded to install on the pipeline, after the completion of a welding, there is no headache such as leakage, no maintenance.
